The Associated Press reported that on January 9 in Venezuela, after a protest the day before the inauguration of Nicolas Maduro, opposition leader Maria Corina Machado was detained but later released. According to her, during her detention, repressive forces shot a man. After the presidential elections, the opposition was able to collect 85% of the data from the receipts from electronic voting machines and prove their victory.
