On June 23, in Paris, Crown Prince of Iran Reza Pahlavi addressed the Iranian people. He announced initiatives aimed at a peaceful transition to democracy in Iran: implementing a secure communication channel for members of the Iranian security forces willing to join the opposition; organizing a summit for Iranian activists, politicians, and business leaders to agree on a transition plan; and developing an economic roadmap for restructuring Iran. “Do not throw this regime a lifeline,” he also urged the international community.

On June 16, the GLOBESEC think tank, with essential contribution from the Emile Foundation (formerly the Orphans Feeding Foundation), published a report titled “Stolen Generations: A Systematic Violation of Ukraine’s Future.” The report details the deportation of Ukrainian children by Russian authorities and their ideological indoctrination—turning them loyal to their captors. The Kremlin’s actions amount to demographic warfare, and international law and diplomacy have so far failed to establish an effective mechanism to bring these children home.

On June 27, Lana Koshkareva, a Canadian volunteer working on the UA Drone Forces project—which supplies civilian drones to Ukraine’s defenders—was awarded the “Volunteer – A Human with a Big Heart” medal. “Thanks to people like you, we feel the Friends of Ukraine stand as a united, unbreakable shield supporting us,” reads the letter of gratitude. She humbly noted that there are more effective volunteers and thanked the donors.
