On April 25, the day of the bloodless revolution in Portugal, we are holding an online conference "Russia Needs April 25th". About 30 interesting speakers have already confirmed their participation. In addition to the speakers, there will be round tables in which we will generate new ideas on the main areas of work necessary for changes in Russia: philosophy and values, self-organization, change of power, allies. Vyacheslav Shiryaev has already shared interesting ideas, send yours to [email protected] and we will read the most interesting ones at the conference.

On April 10, Radio Liberty reported that two former students of Lyceum No. 82 sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for so-called "fakes about the army." In October 2023, the director of the Lyceum filed a police report against them for a YouTube video in which they talked about Russian strikes on Ukrainian schools and that Russian troops blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station.

Last September, we were telling about a Chechen girl, Seda Suleimanova, who at the age of 25 run away from her relatives in Grozny to St. Petersburg. After that, her relatives kidnapped her with the help of security forces. On September 4, 2023, she was last shown alive. According to human rights defenders from the SK SOS, Seda probably became a victim of a so-called "honor killing".

The girl's friend, Lena Patyaeva, is trying to draw attention to this problem and find Seda. She and other activists launched a collection of signatures, among others including a demand to introduce a dedicated definition of honor killing into Russian legislation.

We consider Putin not a president, but a usurper and a war criminal, but it seems important to support self-organization inside Russia, as well as draw attention to the problem of honor killings.

And good news: we launched a creative section on our YouTube channel, and added a video with the poem "Testament-Covenant", read by the author, Rusya Rassvet. Unfortunately, due to footage of the results of the actions of Russian troops in Ukraine, YouTube set an age restriction for this video and does not want to distribute it. Help it grow: watch, like, share with your friends.

You can get a collection of anti-war poems by Rusya Rassvet in exchange for donations for portable power stations for hospitals and schools in Ukraine at the charity online art exhibition NET VOYNE.
