The two-year ongoing full-scale invasion and the ten-year ongoing aggressive war by Russia in Ukraine continue. Protesting in front of the Russian Embassy in Lisbon, we, Russians who are against the war and the criminal Putin regime, demand the withdrawal of Russian troops from all of Ukraine's territory, hand over war criminals to Hague, and the restoration of what has been destroyed. We also ask the international community to provide all necessary assistance to Ukraine.

Reunidos em frente à Embaixada da Rússia em Lisboa, nós, Russos oponentes à guerra e ao regime criminoso de Putin, exigimos a retirada das tropas russas de todo o território da Ucrânia, a extradição dos criminosos de guerra e a reconstrução do que foi destruído. Pedimos também à comunidade internacional que preste toda a assistência necessária à Ucrânia. Os Ucranianos têm sido um exemplo do que pode ser a resposta de uma comunidade a um problema comum, desde o início da invasão. Ajudam o seu país de muitas formas: com dinheiro, divulgando informação, falando com políticos e com a população local, unindo-se e ajudando-se mutuamente. Há uma frase popular que diz que "as boas acções são feitas em silêncio". Há uma imagem viral na Internet em que um homem bem vestido com sacos de comida é fotografado em frente de uma família pobre e que esta a passar fome e para qual ele trouxe os sacos. Algumas pessoas escreveram nos comentários a esta fotografia que não havia necessidade de publicitar a dor de outras pessoas. Mas houve muitas pessoas que disseram que era uma parte importante do trabalho. Ao tornar publicas as informaçãoes sobre quem ajudamos e porquê, damos o exemplo a outras pessoas e, assim, a nossa ajuda torna-se ainda maior. Since the beginning of the invasion, Ukrainians have become an example of a community's response to a common problem. They are trying many different ways to help their country: with money, by spreading information, by communicating with politicians, the local population, they unite and help each other.
There's a common saying, "good deeds are done in silence." There's a meme circulating on the internet of a well-dressed person with food packages is making a selfie in front of a hungry family for whom he brought these packages. Some people in the comments under this picture wrote that it's not necessary to publicize one’s charity on the misfortune of others. But there were many people who said that it's an important part of the work. By telling about whom and why you are helping, you show an example for other people and thus your help becomes many times greater.
