11 октября в Париже прошла конференция Russie-Libertés. Мэр 11го округа Парижа рассказал о планах увековечить память Бориса Немцова, Юлия Навальная пригласила диаспоры к сотрудничеству, а певица Монеточка спела свою новую песню "Ты - солдат". Также она поддержала эмигрантов, переживающих, что не всё получается, рассказав, что Набоков написал "Лолиту" лишь через 40 лет после своего отъезда из России.

У нас была встреча с представителями диаспор из других стран. Мы обсудили представительство в ПАСЕ и возможность такого представительства для иранцев. Узнали о том, что половина уйгуров говорит на русском языке и Сталин их разделил и половину передал Китаю, где они подвергаются геноциду. А ещё поделились опытом взаимодействия с людьми, оставшимися в наших странах, с активисткой из Афганистана.
На своём концерте Монеточка разрешила нам провести сбор на портативные электростанции для больниц и школ Украины. Мы из стран, где живём привезли подарки для доноров. On October 11, the Russie-Libertés conference was held in Paris. The mayor of the 11th arrondissement spoke about plans to commemorate Boris Nemtsov, Yulia Navalnaya invited diaspora groups to collaborate, and singer Monetochka performed her new song, “You’re a Soldier.” She also encouraged emigrants who feel things aren’t working out yet, that Nabokov wrote “Lolita” only 40 years after leaving Russia.

We met with representatives of diasporas from other countries. We discussed representation in PACE and the possibility of such representation for Iranians. We learned that half of the Uyghurs speak Russian and that Stalin divided them, handing the other half to China, where they are being subjected to genocide. We also exchanged experiences of engaging with people still in our motherlands with an activist from Afghanistan.
At her concert, Monetochka allowed us to raise money for portable power stations for hospitals and schools in Ukraine. We brought gifts for donors from our countries of residence.
