24 февраля в 6 часов вечера, встретились там же, перед посольством России в Лиссабоне, в чётвёртую годовщину того, что российская армия по приказу Путина, узурпировавшего власть в России, начала полномасштабную войну в Украине. Война уничтожает население как Украины, так и России; миллионы людей потеряли свои дома и были вынуждены бежать. Из-за обстрелов инфраструктуры люди в Украине замерзают насмерть в своих домах. Мы снова хотим высказаться против решения властей России вести войну в Украине, сказать, что мы не признаем эту власть законной и действующей в интересах россиян, и потребовать отставки властей и вывода войск с территории Украины, включая Крым.
A February of mourning.
On February 24 at 6:00 PM, we met in the same place, in front of the Russian Embassy in Lisbon, on the fourth anniversary of the Russian army, on Putin’s orders—Putin, who usurped power in Russia—launching a full-scale war in Ukraine. The war is devastating the populations of both Ukraine and Russia; millions have lost their homes and have been forced to flee. Due to the shelling of infrastructure, people in Ukraine are freezing to death in their homes. Once again, we want to speak out against the Russian authorities’ decision to wage war in Ukraine, to declare that we do not recognize this government as legitimate or acting in the interests of the Russian people, and to demand the resignation of the authorities and the withdrawal of troops from Ukrainian territory, including Crimea.
