Results of the year 2023 of Association of Free Russians in Portugal: rallies, fighting against Putin’s propaganda, participation in the Anti-War Committee.

This year we have held more than 50 actions, performances, rallies, and pickets, in which hundreds of people participated in 3 cities of Portugal. Our social networks in total have gathered more than 800 subscribers, and our petition in support of civil society has collected more than 1000 signatures.

We donate to the protection and restoration of Ukraine, participate in the international association of activists, support the Anti-War Committee, Anti-corruption foundation, and the Siberia Battalion. Our videos, in which we help to counter the propaganda of Putinism and fakes spread not only in Russia but also in Portugal, have been watched by tens of thousands of people.

This year we joined the Anti-War Committee to support the idea of creating a strong united center of the Russian opposition, which more people will want to join. Ideally, this could become the government of a new Russia in exile, which will be able to seize power when the regime falls. With your support, of course. Our activities help our politicians in communicating with European officials on issues of imposing sanctions on the regime's weak points, as well as on your problems.

The outgoing year was difficult. Many of those who fought and continue to fight have experienced burnout, despondency, and powerlessness. But it is hard to imagine news worst than about the beginning of the full-scale invasion and the atrocities of the Russian army in Bucha and Irpin, which we saw last year.

A system of views that includes hatred for those who are different in some way: look different, think differently, speak differently, as well as tolerance of corruption and the deprivation of one's civil and human rights - led to a great war.

Together with you, our task in the coming year is to continue helping those who oppose the regime, often at the cost of their own lives, and to find ways to persuade more people to openly say "no" to Putin's regime. We are already preparing several next major rallies and projects on this topic.

And finally, we want to congratulate everyone with the upcoming 2024! We wish us end of this war as soon as possible, fall of the Putin's regime, and the coming of peace!
