On October 31, Correio da Manhã reported that during the night of October 25–26, unknown individuals, apparently familiar with railway operations, damaged the locks on two switches on the Oeste Line in Porto. The driver of a passing train noticed the issue, braked, and prevented a derailment. An investigation is underway.

The crisis group “SK SOS” has launched a petition calling on the Armenian authorities to conduct an investigation independent of political pressure and to strengthen protection for those most at risk.
